The doctor is out. USA Network has decided to cancel their Rush TV show after one season of 10 episodes.
Rush revolves around a talented and handsome physician (Tom Ellis) who had it all — but then lost it in one fateful night. Six years later, he’s a private doctor who treats less-than-squeaky-clean clientele in Los Angeles. The rest of the cast includes Harry Hamlin, Larenz Tate, Odette Annable, and Sarah Habel.
Debuting mid-July, the first episode of Rush attracted 1.7 million viewers with a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Not a very good start. The numbers for later episodes went up and down and the season averaged 1.65 million with a 0.4 in the demo.
Satisfaction, another new drama, had very similar ratings and either show could have been cancelled or renewed. USA ultimately chose to drop Rush and renew Satisfaction. The defacto series finale aired on September 18th.

Please bring back Rush. It was an awesome show. I’ve never even seen satisfaction nor did it interest me. Very disappointed it was cancelled.
This show is incredible! They’ve created amazing characters and an amazing plot line. The relationships and the characters chemistry is phenomenal. PLEASE DONT CANCEL THE SHOW! My husband and I love this show! We need to see what happens next; to the story line and to the entire character cast!

Yes……. i liked the show and am a serious Lauren Tate fan. Rush is a good show and should be on for several more seasons. Bring it back.
I am very upset. Why does USA does this? I rather have RUSH then Satisfaction. Ugh brink back RUSH. I love my doctor show. I was waiting anxiously for a Season 2. Disappointed with the USA network. >.<
I defenitly would love to have Rush , not sure about over Satifaction but I’m equally annoyed with the major cliff hangers , I hope they bring Rush back .

Rush – loved this show, it was a breath of fresh air with something different. Bring it BACK or someone else pick this up. Networks need to advertise /promote these shows more often. Lots of friends that I mentioned this show to had not even heard of it.
Love this show!! Great characters with great chemistry! So many disappointing reality shows on TV and we lose this show that has great potential?!?! Bad call USA~~~
