Telly’s Take
Salvation premiered with low ratings and they’ve gotten even worse. Unless CBS has made enough deals to cover a good amount of the costs for this series, I would be shocked if this series came back for a second season.Subscribe for free updates on any cancellation and renewal news.
10/18/17 update: CBS has renewed Salvation for a second season of 13 episodes. Details here.

What do you think? Are you glad that the Salvation TV show was renewed for a second season? How would you have felt if CBS had cancelled this TV show, instead?
I love this show – please renew. It is addictive!!
Salvation will hopefully be renewed for season 2. It is addictive and has to be back!
My partner has got me totally hooked on salvation and it definitely needs a second season so we can see what happens please don’t cancel
I hope it will be renewed.
Beautiful finale! They know they’re going to be canceled but they did a really super job of leaving us with some nice memories and resolving at least SOME of the issues. Loved the series but then I am a scifi nut….
My husband and I absolutely love this show and couldn’t wait for it to come on every week. Please, please, please don’t cancel this show! It’s one of the best shows in a long time.
Awesome show.I copied all episodes and watched all at once -best show I’ve seen in a long time. Great actors, great storyline, great potential for a continuing series. I didn’t want it to end…please don’t let it.
Please keep Salvation on for Series 2, 3, 4, etc. Best Storyline and Cast I have seen in a long time. CBS needs some Great New Shows!! Can’t wait to see what happens next. PLEASE do not cancel…
I would like to see another season of Salvation. The writing and the ideas are interesting. It is well acted.
Please don’t cancel Salvation. I’m so sick of stupid reality shows, unless they have the potential to teach. So, please keep Salvation which entertains and that I hope to look forward to next season.
I truly hope Salvation gets a 2nd season nod. I admit, the show started out pretty slow for my taste, but the characters are so likable (or hateable in the case of the bad guys) that I kept with it. Now, the three separate story threads all converging have made it a pretty interesting show, that I really want to see completed. To leave it on a cliffhanger, such as the S1 finale ended on, would be a disservice to the creative team, and to the fans of the show. Here’s hoping and praying for season 2.
I cannot bear the idea that Salvation could be cancelled. It is such a timely, quality show ( so rare on the networks). It absolutely needs to continue. It was my favorite show of the summer. Keep it going! Perhaps if it was rerun, more viewers would get hooked like I did.
Please do not cancel Salvation! I love this show… good writing and good actors… hard to find TV shows anymore like this one!
Please do NOT cancel!! It always seems that the shows that are enjoyed most are the ones to be cancelled. Salvation is a great show, and should be allowed to continue the journey the writers have led us, allows viewers, on. CBS, please, read all the comments from your viewers, and return Salvation for season 2!!
3 million watchers still low? hahaha they should follow korean shows when it gets axed and what not.,
