Salvation will end its first, and possibly last season, next week, and details for the finale have been released. The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, and ratings for the series have been low at .52 in the demo numbers and an average of 3.564 million viewers.
CBS revealed the full details about the Salvation finale, titled “The Plot Against America,” in a press release. Check that out below.
“Harris, Grace and Darius must topple the illegitimate government, and Darius makes final plans for the ark, on the season finale of SALVATION, Wednesday, Sept. 20 at a special time (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

It’s not often that we are given an exciting and intelligent television show to watch, Savation happens to be one of those shows. Believe me this is one person who doesn’t watch much television strictly because the shows have been dumbed down to suit their audience. We don’t need anymore sit-coms of any kind. At least find a second season for tbis show it certainly deserves it.

I love this show. The plot is well written, fast paced, a mix of West Wing and Star Trek. The characters are amazing. I am hoping strongly for a season two.

Not a huge fan of vast government conspiracies, but I’ve come to like this show. If they do continue, PLEASE DO NOT make a couple out of Darius and Grace – bleeech.
I think Salvation is an absolutely mind expanding and an unbelievably suspenseful on the edge of your seat show. The acting and actor interaction is top notch. Would be a great loss if not continued to season two. Please renew it!

I love this show please do not cancel. Everything else on TV is all reality TV and I am sick of it and don’t watch the majority of it. It is such a waste. Please renew Salvation.

I am really enjoying Salvation, but I have been down this road several times before with other series like Dallas. If you are not continuing it then end all story lines for all characters on 9/20/17. Either Samson destroys all humanity or Darius’ Ark takes off for Mars to continue the human race and Salvation.
I am so into this series and cannot believe they would discontinue it! Why? It has excellent acting, drama, humor, romance, but most of all the plots and action are excellent!! Please try and continue this series…
