Salvation will end its first, and possibly last season, next week, and details for the finale have been released. The series has not yet been renewed for a second season, and ratings for the series have been low at .52 in the demo numbers and an average of 3.564 million viewers.
CBS revealed the full details about the Salvation finale, titled “The Plot Against America,” in a press release. Check that out below.
“Harris, Grace and Darius must topple the illegitimate government, and Darius makes final plans for the ark, on the season finale of SALVATION, Wednesday, Sept. 20 at a special time (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Excellent series. The finale left me wanting a 2nd season, just like the series “Designated Survivor”. More viewers would have occurred, had it not aired during the summer.

Please this show has been great actors right on great story line . We ha e enough police dramas,stupid stupid comedies, and most of all enough withe big brother, the race and see I can dance. again give it a fighting chance!!!
barbara, you are absolutely right, police dramas, stupid comedies, dance shows,reality shows (ha) all over the place, all a big waste land. one has to go to the smaller networks and independents, to get good shows like happy days, lavern & shirley hogans heros, alf, i love lucy, perry mason, magnum pi, etc. etc, etc,
Please please please renew. Good summer entertainment. We enjoyed season 1 and the finale left a lot of things up in the air. Better than those awful reality shows

I love SALVATION, good suspense, plot, & some romance. I recoded all the episodes. I would even BUY the series dvds for ALL the seasons! CBS, Please renew SALVATION for another season.
Yes, RENEW Salvation!!! I Love the show! So many unanswered questions. Don’t cancel it & leave us spectulating what the end will be…give us hope! A rogue coup president, Liam & Jillian, Darius & Grace, re/syst caught & lastly but not least, will they stop the asteroid before it hits the earth! Great show & great actors! Great story, please renew! So much better than most shows!
Salvation should be renewed for a second season. It is timely and could happen as we have seen natural disasters, coups, crazy elections and threats of nuclear war this year and this series possible truth in this fantasy. It is more real than the Dome and that was on for 3 seasons.
