To no surprise, ABC has renewed their other popular Shonda Rhimes TV show, Scandal, for a fourth season.
On Scandal, Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) protects the images of the most powerful people in Washington but now it’s her own reputation that needs help. This season, the cast also includes Tony Goldwyn, Katie Lowes, Bellamy Young, Scott Foley, Guillermo Diaz, Columbus Short, Joshua Malina, Jeff Perry, and Darby Stanchfield.
The series is the alphabet network’s top drama and is ABC’s only scripted series that’s up year-to-year in the ratings. The third season averaged a 3.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 9.12 million viewers.

I love the show scandal honestly you have done a great job with this hit TV series just keep it up and I’m pretty sure it will still be a success for season 5 & 6

I was informed today that the series is being canceled after season 4. Is there truth to this?
If this is true how is this justifiable with more than a 20% increase in viewer participation ?

I LOVE SCANDAL!!! My favorite character is HUCK! My heart goes out to him every time I see him! But I love all the other characters too! Great cast and awesome writers!

This is the best TV series on television today. Scandal is WONDERFUL and I really think this show gives the viewer a “look” into the workings of the real “politics” that is going on in Washington today. Kerry Washington is a marvelous Actor! With as many scandals our government is handling at this time, I personally think, our political system in this country could be very close in representation of our present day government. I am so thrilled it has been renewed for a fourth season.
Love this show my son got me hooked on it on netflix last week I have watched all series. Can!t wait for season 4 to commence on abc

This is a SERIES that is worth watching. It is gripping from start to end. The plot is great, and it deals with things that are “everyday” issues, and even the best of people have some sort of issues. It also takes you behind the scences of people with power and what they are capable of doing. This series will be a hit for many years to come, if the producers & writers keep the plot as it is running, with “fresh everyday” themes.

I LOVE SCANDAL!!!! I wish the show would run for Eternity!!! Great show: super marvelous cast, fantastic writing and directing and the greatest Love story (Olitz) that I’ve ever seen in many many years. Tony Goldwyn and Kerry Washington play their roles in this romance so deeply into my heart that I’m simply in love with their Love. But, I do wonder if Oliva (Kerry) needs to find a new life for herself in Season4 because the Prez/Fitz (Tony) seems to have renewed his marriage ties.
