Scorpion just wrapped its fourth season, but will there be another? Should CBS renew the TV show for a fifth season for not? Do you want more adventures of this geeky crew?
The action drama follows a team of misfits who also happen to be the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats. The cast includes Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter.
It’s unclear if CBS will renew Scorpion for a fifth season. On the one hand, ratings have been pretty low for the series. Season four averaged a 0.81 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.262 million viewers. That’s a nearly 30% drop in both ratings and viewership when compared to last season’s numbers.
On the other hand, CBS Television Studios is a producer on Scorpion, meaning the network has additional financial interest in picking up the show for another season. The show already has 93 episodes in the can and these days, that’s already enough for syndication.

I love Scorpion. Its an original idea with comedy, drama, action and depicts the characters’s growth from self-isolated geniuses to people who realize that friends can actually become family that gives love and support. I was hooked on this show from episode 1. The only other show that I have watched every episode, as it airs every week is Supernatural. Please bring Scorpion back. There are unlimited storylines that can be used.

I really enjoyed Scorpion, not for the scientific aspect but for the characters. Each character grew due to interaction with the non-eggheads. The growth was both endearing and humorous. I was looking forward to another season. Sadly, however…
Scorpion is not only one of CBS’ greatest shows, but one of the greatest shows on TV; and in this age of high quality content, that’s really saying something. We need to see more from this team of geniuses!

Sure I’d continue to watch. It’s my favorite show. It’s smart, exciting, funny, creative, and something everyone can watch and enjoy. Maybe in a different time slot? Unbelievable that a show like this would be cancelled with the garbage that’s on. Please renew it!

Please!! Somebody save Scorpion!! It is an amazing show!! Lots of comedy and action and even some romance!! I am keeping my fingers crossed that they change their minds and renew it for season 5 or that another broadcaster or Netflix picks it up for season 5!! Where is the “Save Scorpion” petition??!! I know a lot of people who would be all about signing it to get this great show saved!
