After just two weeks, FOX is pulling their new Second Chance TV show from its Wednesday night timeslot. Starting next week, the series will air on Friday nights at 9pm, switching places with Hell’s Kitchen. Ratings-challenged Sleepy Hollow will also begin airing on Friday nights at 8pm on February 5th.
The network hasn’t cancelled Second Chance yet but a timeslot change like this certainly doesn’t bode well for the series’ future. Neither do the ratings. The series debuted to a 1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.71 million viewers. In week two, the ratings dropped to a 1.0 rating with 3.75 million. Last year, FOX cut the show’s episode order to 11 installments though the producers say they requested the reduction.
Here are timeslot change details:

What do you think? Do you like the Second Chance TV show? Will you follow it to Fridays? Should Second Chance be cancelled?
I have to agree that the plot development peeked my interest with each espisode. For any show to exceed, you have to allow the audience the time to relate to the characters and see where the plot is going. Second Chance is a novel idea with a plot that can develop into many directions. The actors are fantastic and love the high tech. Who wouldn’t want a second chance to right a wrong. I want more of the action, intrigue, suspense, with the time to watch the characters evolve as the plot(s) thicken. Dump the crap shows as another loyal… Read more »
Enjoy the show now that the plot is developing. The discovery of the other actors motivation in the plot line is getting good.
This show should not be cancelled. This is why people don’t watch tv anymore. This is why people watch your network less and less. You take a good show and if it doesn’t make you enough money right away, stick it on sometime that will assure no one will watch it and then justify the cancellation. Shame on you .. it is a great show with great characters.
Please please don’t cancel this show. There aren’t very many show that are decent and don’t have blood and things like in plain sight. It’s really good what can we do to keep it on
We love this show. Please please please do not cancel it! Please please please renew it for another season. This is the show my hubby and I watch together on date nights!
Love this show.
Please do not cancel this tv show. I love the cast, the plots and the action.
I love the TV show Second Chance. I love the characters, the action and the humor. The cast is perfect for the parts they play. I sincerely hope that this show will remain on the air.
Why not give this great show another season??? My hubby and I love the premise of the show we are in our early sixties and we still buys lots of stuff the products that advertise gets most of our money…..hint hint KEEP THE SHOW ON
I love the show It has the humor & action a great cast of Character . I vote we keep it & get rid on some of the other Crap
I love the show. It is interesting on many levels. I really don’t understand where all the bad reviews are coming from. Only rotten tomatoes has it as a bad rating and some critics. But who are they. Nobody cares about their opions when all they do is over analyze a show. If you want to take that rout then every show sucks cause they all have major flaws. Weather it be production, the script, the acting, etc. If you look at all the reviews from the viewers out there it’s no lower than a 7/10 and goes to 9/10… Read more »
I love this show. Why do they have to cancel the good shows and leave the garbage on?
Please keep it on the air***
Love this show!! Please kerpbit on the air!
I really like this show I hate to see it go. However I’m use to it by now. I can almost with certainty say after 8 see an episode if people are going to tune in for it to make especially on network tv. It’s plain sad that they can’t put anything 9n tv these days Friday & Saturday nights. If your in that time slot ir moved there your done. Being sci-fi doubles that chance. I’m so sick of network tv shows. Everytime you really get into it its canceled. This was a great show & had a lot… Read more »
