What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Secrets and Lies follows Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis), as she investigates murder cases. Season two revolves around a smart and educated named Eric Warner (Michael Ealy) who attends a party to honor his dad. His father is handing over the reins of the family company. Tragedy strikes when Eric’s wife, Kate (Jordana Brewster), is found dead. Life, as Eric knows it, is over. Cornell immediately sets her sights on the grieving husband. As Eric Warner battles to prove his innocence and save the family’s company, he discovers that his beloved Kate and the rest of his family are not who they appeared to be. The cast also includes Mekia Cox, Charlie Barnett, Kenny Johnson, Terry O’Quinn, and AnnaLynne McCord.
Season Two Ratings

Telly’s Take
The low-rated Secrets and Lies is looking like a tasty treat to this voracious vulture. In January, ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey said that ABC is unlikely to pick up Secrets and Lies season three. Since a network exec said that much, this early, she is most probably setting expectations. I’m leaving my perch and will start to circle this series. Although Dungey said she loves the show, I expect the network will cancel Secrets and Lies after two seasons.

Please do not cancel! Love this show! ABC why do you keep cancelling the good shows? You cancelled The Family already, but keep boring shows like the Bachelor. How many times can you watch people trying to find fake love? Please give it at least one more season.
Please keep the season going I just recently got around to watching it & my sister it’s 1 of the best crime shows we’ve watched in a while & we love it. You have to keep the seasons going we are courious to find out what happened next there’s really not many crime shows to watch anymore that are exiting & interesting like this one only a bunch of reality shows lately. Both seasons were excellent! The depth of the story and the twists and turns made it so awesome and realistic. Every Sunday I looked forward to the next episode as many who watched it with me did also.
I am hooked and really want to see season 3, the actors all do an excellent job. Please don’t give up of a season 3
Loved this show and would hate to see it cancelled. Both seasons had great story lines. My friends and I could not guess who “did it”! Kept us guessing both seasons. Too much time in between one season to the next . Would help if you could shorten the break time.
I learned about secrets and lies from my girlfriend. It came on during football season so that’s probably why it didn’t get good ratings. And also we had the election going on around the same time. We watched season 2 first and fell in love with it. We went back and watched season one and was amazed at how it ended. Just really jaw dropping. Both seasons were. Great points you made I said a booming economy and you said election. Nonetheless, it was a great show and I wish they would bring it back.
Someone told me about the show, so it’s not a known show. However, soon as I watched it I completely fell in love. Please renew the show for a 3rd season you will see the ratings hit the roof. I’ve been telling everybody about it so everyone is anticipating on the next season. Let’s start a petition!!

I absolutely loved this show especially the first season because of Ryan and the story line was great. I was surprised to find a new cast and storyline for season 2 but I got into it and realized the show was more about the detective and her cases. I was really looking forward to season 3 so reading this is a little upsetting.
