CROWN MEDIA FAMILY NETWORKS ANNOUNCES ‘SIGNED, SEALED, DELIVERED’ FROM MARTHA WILLIAMSON, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER OF ‘TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL,’ MOVES TO HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES WITH NEW EXTENDED FORMAT
Franchise to Include Multiple 2-Hour Original Movies; First Film, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas,” Premieres November 23
Crown Media Family Networks announced today that Hallmark Channel original weekly scripted series, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” executive produced and written by Martha Williamson (Executive Producer of “Touched by an Angel”), will move to sister network Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as a movie franchise consisting of a series of two-hour original films. Debuting on November 23 at 9pm ET/PT, 8C, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas” will be the first movie in the franchise, with three more slated for 2015.
“We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Martha Williamson and to bring her brand of rich and poignant stories to viewers on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming and network publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “At their core, the narratives on ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’ revolve around mystery and suspense, with compelling characters and dramatic storylines that will be enhanced by an extended format.”
“When Bill Abbott and Michelle Vicary asked if I can evolve the ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ franchise into a series of movies, I was honored to continue the Hallmark tradition of quality family movies,” said series Creator and Executive Producer Martha Williamson. “At the heart of ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ is Oliver, a modern day gentleman with old world values played brilliantly by Eric Mabius,” she added. “He and his wonderful team of postal detectives will continue to surprise us and sometimes make us laugh as they work to solve mysteries behind letters, even mysteries of life.”
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will introduce viewers to the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” franchise by airing a marathon of the series on Saturday, October 11 from 11am – 11pm ET/PT, 10C.
Returning as the “POstables,” Oliver O’Toole (Eric Mabius, “Ugly Betty”), Shane McInerney (Kristin Booth, “Orphan Black”), Rita Haywith (Crystal Lowe, “Smallville”) and Norman Dorman (Geoff Gustafson “Primeval: New World”) will take millions of viewers on new adventures as they uncover the mysteries of lost missives and return them to their intended recipients, profoundly changing lives in the process.
“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a comedic drama that follows the lives of a group of postal workers who transform themselves into an untraditional team of detectives to track down intended recipients of undeliverable mail. Their missions take them out of the office into an unpredictable world where redirected letters and packages can save lives, solve crimes, reunite old loves and change futures by arriving late but somehow on time.
“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a Muse Entertainment production in association with MoonWater Productions. Executive Producers are Martha Williamson (“Touched by an Angel”), Joel S. Rice (“Cyberbully”) and Michael Prupas (“The Kennedys”). Harvey Kahn (“The Haunting Hour”) is the producer.

Murray Responsibility in Television Award, the Templeton Prize Epiphany Award and nine Emmy(R) nominations.
What do you think? Is this a good move? Would you prefer that it continue as a weekly series or are you okay with a series of movies instead?
Please, please, please keep it weekly. Don’t make me wait so long between my
“goodness” fixes. No other show on T.V. makes me feel so wonderful.
Hope you please keep it weekly cause we dont
Have that channel. It was nice on sunday cause there
Wasnt any thing on. Thanks.
I was so thrilled to find a show that my teenager could watch without fear of inappropriate language or behavior! It’s a rarity these days! Would love to see this delightful show continue!
It was so refreshing to see a great story each and every week that you could fit yourself right into and relate with. Especially with all the terror that is happening in our countries today. It saddens me that we won’t get to see the remainder of the series and especially the Christmas movie that these lead up to. It seems whenever there is anything good on TV it has to be taken off. I was an avid TV watcher but now there is just so much garbage. It was such a delight to find this series. Each show I… Read more »
My husband and I love the weekly show and would look forward to it each week. Please don’t change it. Weekly is the best, we enjoy sitting down weekly and enjoying the show on the Hallmark Channel, why ruin a good thing, please don’t change it.

My wife and I looked forward to Sunday evenings with signed, sealed and delivered. Weekly would be best, but the movies will be better than nothing. Just a great show…..a love story really.
I’m wondering what’s going to happen to Cedar Cove?
My adult daughter and I look forward to the next amazing episode every week like ur child waits for Santa….
To end that which only puts a smile and feeling of wonder, and love ,would it self ,Be a crime to viewers…
Why can’t they do both, weekly, and movies, I’m sure the hearts and minds of all would be satisfied…I know we would scream phrases.PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW ALIVE FOR ALL OF US TO VISIT WEEKLY…
While I am happy to be still be able to watch this wonderful program on the Hallmark Movie Channel – I’d rather it stayed a series on the Hallmark Channel. WHY was it changed? Why couldn’t it have been kept like the Cedar Cove series? We really need more series like this one and instead of the Hallmark channel showing the same TV movies several times over or showing holiday movies months before the actual season – THIS series could be shown instead. What’s the deal? You keep saying your “the heart of family” but you cut out a terrific… Read more »
I so agree Rose. So sick of the repeats on both the Hallmark channels. I am about to cancel both of them. They finally have decent New shows, and they cancel them. What is that?????
studio executives are terrible people and when gamers who become studio executives take over their positions smart moves will be made. the guy there now is probably just some boring dullard.
My husband & I looked forward to this show every Sunday…..why ruin a good thing?
i totally agree with the rest of the comments weekly would be great, but if 2 hour movies are all we can get then i’ll settle for that. i have all of the touch by an angel series too. another feel good family show is Heartland on cbc from canada sundays at 7pm est. the young lady is a horse whisperer in a sense and trains horses among other things.
Good weekly family programm, should leave it as a series.
Very sad. My husband and I looked forward to watching every Sunday. We’ve been patiently awaiting it’s return. Really bummed. Should have left it where it was. Still do the movies…but keep it weekly
I Love the weekly show! I will watch the series but I would rather have it on weekly. It is a feel good show and brings alot of warm feelings. Their is very little a family can sit down and watch together. Why mess with a good thing!
