SYNOPSISWith Valentine’s Day approaching, Oliver O’Toole, charming leader of a team of postal detectives devoted to tracking down recipients of undeliverable mail, opens the investigation of a mysterious 15-year old lost letter. Working closely with technophile Shane McInerney, Oliver tracks the letter’s history, uncovering a dramatic tale of young love, perceived betrayal and murder. When he discovers the letter contains information that could potentially destroy a local politician, Oliver finds he also has a personal connection to the case. Meanwhile, free-spirited Rita Haywith and research expert Norman Dorman discover a 200-year-old, homemade Valentine’s Day card, whose contents could have an enormous impact on American history.
As the lovable team of postal-workers-turned-detectives embark on their missions, the Valentine’s Day holiday stirs up insecurities surrounding their romantic lives. When sparks begin to fly between Oliver and Shane, a misunderstanding arises, threatening their budding romance. And when Rita is given a prestigious United States Postal Service honor, she is called out of town, leaving her bewildered boyfriend Norman alone on the holiday.
