Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

The second season of Six is averaging a 0.21 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 803,000 viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 47% and 49%, respectively. Find out how Six stacks up against other History TV shows.
According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

If this was the last season it should’ve been a happy ending. But it wasn’t. It seemed like they planned for a season 3 because the finale had a cliff hanger. I don’t want to spoil for anyone who hasn’t seen it. The season 3 needs a renewal because if not the legacy of the show will be – ******* filmmakers who gave up!!!
This show was one of the best shows on TV I can not believe it’s cancelled season two was better than season one the CIA part is much better than even Homeland. Renew it!!!!!
Great cast, authentic and timely. I want more hopefully some other smart station will pick it up. Fingers crossed. Great finale.

I am pissed that this show is cancelled, history channel has just lost a full family of viewers, with all the crap out there on tv that’s still on, history channel cancels this hard hitting great show, WTF, gooood bye history channel
Bull **** cancellation…as a former Navy Vet it’s the best show on TV. Your ratings might be due to the fact most people now DVR everything cause WE HATE commercials. RIP Tag…Bear. You’ll be missed. All about the money. That’s why we dvr cause commercials are all about the money

I’m very disappointed to hear season 3 of SIX has been cancelled. With experience in this occupation, it was a very accurate portrayal. I was definitely a fan of the show.

I LOVE this show!! Incredibly disappointed to hear History has chosen to cancel it after two seasons. The show is action packed, while still managing to illustrate the emotional and psychological baggage these American heros are forced to carry once they return to civilian life. It brings impressive depth to each of the team memebers in a way that makes viewers not only route for them as people, but relate to them as human beings.
