Mission aborted. History has cancelled its Six TV show after two seasons. The cancellation news comes six episodes into the Navy SEAL series’ 10-episode second season. While there will be no third season, the last four episode of season should play out as scheduled.
A History military combat drama, Six stars Barry Sloane, Kyle Schmid, Juan Pablo Raba, Edwin Hodge, Brianne Davis, Jessica Garza, Nadine Velasquez, Jaylen Moore, Joshua Gage, Olivia Munn, Eric Ladin, Katherine Evans, and Rus Blackwell. The series centers on the modern American warriors of Navy SEAL Team Six. In season two, Joe ‘Bear’ Graves (Sloane) leads the team to join forces with CIA officer Gina Cline (Munn).

According to a Deadline report, the cancellation decision was made now, because cast options are set to expire.

I’m baffled! Please don’t cancel! This is one of the few shows I watch with my husband. It appeals to our age group and the genre is in alignment with our interest of military type documentary. The storyline is genius. Don’t let this one go History channel!
I am disappointed they are canceling SIX. There’s only so many knife-making shows and reruns of American Pickers I can stomach. SIX was destination TV viewing for a lot of us. A better time slot and better promos would definitely have helped.
This was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time!!! I do not understand how anyone could cancel such a good actioned packed suspense thrilled show!!! It kept me and my husbands attention very well we loved it!! I hope another network picks it up!! I saw the finale and it moved me so much but I am left to wonder what happens next if someone does not pick it up!! All of the cast and crew did great on this show!! All of the seals were too notched!!! I am sad!!!!
Six has been one of the most riveting and entertaining shows of the year. I can’t fathom how cancellation was even a consideration. History channel has certainly done itself a great disservice and truly disappointed its viewers. Season 3 of Six absolutely should have remained on the table!
I truly can’t believe History channel has cancelled this show. It was the best. It gave the us an insight to something extremely special. The story line was a nail bitter, I never missed a show. what is wrong with you???
Best show on tv. Gives us a very small idea of the sacrifice the military people and their families make. So disappointed there wont be a season 3. Instead they fill air time with crap like BIg brother and Bachelor
In a world full of stupid reality shows and Kardashians…a well written and Real show is cancelled? This is sickening. This show was raw and true to what’s happening in this world. You feel the love and the pain in these characters. Someone pick this show back up and keep it going. I come from a military family. This is what we want to see. This show would be watched to season 100 if that was possible. Make it happen. Give us back our SIX
I am a 74 yo women who loves history and never missed this show! Guess I was not in the right age bracket to be polled regarding this show. I found it to be very exciting, informative, and entertaining. I will miss it….

You must be blind to cancel such a great show. They did a phenomenal job mimicking Seals and what we are experiencing today in this world with Jhadist soldiers and Torrism. Please the history channel can’t have too many shows that are interesting if they aren’t about history itself. This show was as real as it gets… Another channel off my list..
Really History Channel?! You trying to mimic ABC network by canceling great shows?! Job well done SIX was/is a great show! Fans of SIX, let’s all hope another network, or Netflix, picks up the show.

This stinks. Best show that I’ve seen in a long time. It is the only reason History stated playing my tv. It’s on late and since I get up early for work, I would tape it and highly look forward to watching as soon as I returned home after work. So very bumbed. Please, some one pick up the show and keep it coming.
This is one of very few shows that appeals to both male and female audiences it has everything we both want to see, an excellent mix of family, love, betrayal, action and cammaradory like vikings it is a brilliant series which we will miss. So if anyone’s actually listening please bring it back!

Oh man, the Season 2 finale of Six was simply amazing AND heartbreaking! We need a Season 3!!! Please, somebody pick it up for renewal!!!!!!
