So You Think You Can Dance wrapped its 12th season before the start of the fall season. Is there any season 13 news yet from FOX? Has So You Think You Can Dance been renewed yet?
Not yet, but a renewal is expected for this series soon. FOX had their Winter TCA panel on Friday, and Dana Walden spoke about the future of the series. According to TV Insider, she said:
“We hope [it’ll return]. We’re not finished in our conversations with the producers. We love the show, and hope and anticipate it will be coming back.”
However, fans can expect to see some changes on the series. This wouldn’t be the first time So You Think You Can Dance has undergone changes, but Walden says the changes would not “fundamentally change the show.”
A renewal is expected soon though, and Walden said the late renewal would not delay the series’ return to FOX for this summer.

PLEASE PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW ON AIR. This is one of the best talent shows right now and it would be a shame and almost a sin to let it die after only 12 seasons. It hasn’t even reached its peak yet.
Change is good, growth is good, but please don’t cancel. Let it grow then let it go more gracefully please, in the name of dance.
I must agree I want Mary back. I like Paula she can stay Jason has to go. As for the show is love it so I will still watch it
I won’t be setting my DVR this seaso if the format is the same as Seaso 12. I have not missed a show in12 seasons but found it to be sub par last season. Please return to the old format!!
yes bring it back but go back to the old format. Last year was a train wreck. get rid of Paula and Jason. I have watched it every year it has been on but almost stopped last year because it sucked. It used to be one of my favorite shows. I want Mary back too. Getting rid of her was a really big mistake.
YES yes yes, please renew the show for season 13, this is one of the best shows I have seen and it would be very sad indeed to see cancelled, for viewers and contestants alike
Yes, the show should return and always be a part of the FOX network. This is a show of entertainment, fun, and gives the contestants to push themselves forward to bigger and better things.

Love SYTYCD. Please bring it back. Love seeing these young incredible dancers. It’s good family entertainment. How many of these dancers have said they’ve been waiting to be on the show since they were kids. I think SYTYCD saves a lot of these kids who did not grow up in the best circumstances. It gives hope to a lot of dancers and enjoyment to my husband and I.
