TV show description:
This reality show follows the lives of three young men who’ve been friends since their days at boarding school, as they try to make their own way in Hollywood.
Randy Spelling is the son of the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling, Sean Stewart is the offspring of rock music legend Rod Stewart, and David Weintraub, a rising Hollywood agent.
The series begins as the trio move out of their parents’ mansions and into a shared apartment for the summer. The program then follows the relationships between the sons and fathers as well as day-to-day dramas, career pressures, and struggles with addiction and mortality.
Episode 12 — And the Sons Played On
Sean has a meeting with Justin Siegel from Geffen Records and is told that he needs to attend vocal boot camp. Randy has a movie audition and is nervous about it because he feels that people have higher expectations for actors with his last name.
In the evening, the housemates hold a dinner and reflect on the end of their Summer together. Ashley Hamilton isn’t very nice to Alana and it wrecks the mood. While Sean says he never wants to live with other people again, Randy believes that he’s had the time of his life, despite the loss of his Dad.
First aired: April 29, 2007.
There hasn’t been any news of plans to revive the show.
