The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I strongly believe it’s a huge mistake cancelling the show. You have to know it is a very great show. You want to cancel the show you should do it with a season four at least give us that. This is a big mistake. Please give us at least a season 4
Why would y’all cancel one of my favourite shows?? That’s just wrong! Star is my spirit animal! We also share a name.. But I swear, that character is written to portray my inner self! I freaking LOVE that show! How could y’all cancel it??
It really upsets me that some of the best shows are cancelled and trash remains on tv. Star should have been renewed.

Please, please, please give us a season 4 of Star. If the network could give empire a last season i believe star should get atleast a fourth and if have to be a final season. Too much was left unanswered on season 3 and the fans deserve to decent and complete ending to this beautiful story. So please give us that.
Season threes ending was disappointing, star was my favorite show and to just be left hangin like that really sucks. There really needs to be a season four.

I can’t describe how angry i am about this. Star is my favorite show and season 3 was great the ending was pretty sad which is why we need a season 4 to grieve with the family. My children and I are devastated they cancelled Star!!! So so so sad. This was the greatest show I’ve seen. So many real life issues and hit so close to home. The lessons are all on point.
