The worlds of Star Wars and Doctor Who are about to collide. Metro UK reports Doctor Who star Tom Baker will voice a character in season three of the Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels.
Baker played The Doctor on the BBC sci-fi series from 1974 to 1981, longer than any other actor in the role.
In the new season of Star Wars Rebels, Baker plays “Bendu, who is described as the ‘middle way of the Force’ – not Dark Side or Light Side, he’s ‘something else, a force of nature.’” He joins fellow new castmember Lars Mikkelsen, who voices Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Season three of Star Wars Rebels premieres this fall on Disney XD.
