Starz has handed out another early series renewal. This time, the cable channel has picked up a second season of their original comedy Survivor’s Remorse. The TV show debuted last Saturday with the first of six episodes. Season two will have 10 installments.

Beverly Hills, Calif., October 10, 2014 – Starz announced today a season two pick up of the critically acclaimed slam dunk STARZ Original Series “Survivor’s Remorse” from executive producers Tom Werner, Maverick Carter, LeBron James, Mike O’Malley, Paul Wachter and Victor Levin. The sophomore season of the half-hour scripted comedy series will feature 10 episodes – up from its six-episode first season.
The first episode of “Survivor’s Remorse” debuted on October 4 on STARZ with a multiplatform performance of 1.3 million viewers in the first week.*

“Survivor’s Remorse” follows Cam Calloway, played by Jessie T. Usher, a basketball phenom in his early 20’s who is suddenly thrust into the limelight after signing a multi-million dollar contract with a professional basketball team in Atlanta. Cam, along with his cousin and confidant Reggie Vaughn, played by RonReaco Lee, move to Georgia to start Cam’s journey to success. The two confront the challenges of carrying needy family members and their strong ties to the impoverished community that they come from. Cam, Reggie and an unforgettable group of characters wrestle with the rewards and pitfalls of stardom, love, and loyalty.

Wow!!! I just found this awesome show last night. It was sooooo good and I laughed sooooo hard I spent today trying to caught up on the series through on demand. Great writing, great acting — all around great show!

I enjoyed the show, favorite episode was the pastor calling out all the homesexuals and telling them to get out of his church.
The only down fall of the show is, It’s only on for an half hour. . Not long enough !

Yes, with a doubt I will be watching season two. I love the show. It’s a breath of fresh air from all of the reality shows. The only thing I wish was different is that it turns into an hour long show. Thanks!
