The swamp is drying up. History has posted a new preview for the last season of their reality series, Swamp People.
Created in 2010, the reality series follows a group of Louisiana natives who hunt alligators in the Atchafalaya Swamp.
Earlier, we reported that History had cut several cast members from the seventh season of the series. Now, the network has posted on their Facebook page that season seven will be the final one for the reality show.
The last season is currently airing on History on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Why did the mess with cast. They took off Liz and her family. No comment as to why. Even with the changes, my family still watched every episode. Please don’t cancel the show. There are not many wholesome shows left on TV anymore. There are still many fans.

This show was one I looked for every year. It’s not fake like alot of so called reality shows. This is the only show I watch on the history channel. Put it back on please.

Swamp People is TRUE Reality TV and it should continue on. I love the show and cannot wait for each new season. The cast members are true Southern Folks with good souls. They allow us into their lives and show us what true HumanKindness is. I agree with the gentleman Rick, get rid of Pawn Stars, its a terrible show and who cares about seeing them take advantage of people. BRING BACK SWAMP PEOPLE……

I do not understand why History Channel would get rid of such a good show. There are only two of the hunters I didn’t care for.But I know that all my people loved the show. Plus it’s TRUE HISTORY. Why keep PAWN STARS, which is nothing to do with history other than man, preying on man. I can’t stand RICK HARRISON! The Swamp People had down home personalities.
