Shemar Moore is back at CBS. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has picked up a new TV series with the Criminal Minds star called SWAT.
Based on the 2003 movie (which is based on the 1975 TV show), the drama “centers on a locally born and bred S.W.A.T. lieutenant who is torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a highly trained unit that is the last stop for solving crimes in Los Angeles.”
The cast of SWAT also includes Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Kenny Johnson, Lina Esco, Peter Onorati, and Stephanie Sigman.

I am quietly excited about Shemar returning to a new show but you wait and wait for the show and really enjoy it, then the networks cancel the show after 1 season ( APB ). They dont give it a chance……Another great show that was cancelled after 2 seasons was Code Black. One of the BEST medical dramas on Telly, (my opinion) great characters and stories…More than 1 season with SWAT would be fantastic……..

I definitely am a big fan of Shemar and will watch whatever he shows up in. I really hoped he would return to C.M., but he’ll be just as good in the new show I’m sure.

I’m not watching this, can’t trust the networks to keep new shows. Last few years, I’ve great show canceled and swore I would not allow myself to get hooked again. I do wonder if all the criminals will be white as has been the case with cop shows. And yes there were many black serial killers, yet not one serial killer on Criminal Minds was black in the years I watched it. Politically correct and social engineering have ruined many of shows. You said not one, but that’s wrong even if I slightly get your point.
And take in to account that industry like to cast more white people anyways. Some think they are the only ones who can bring “quality” actor. Some I say not all.
