It looks like Take Two may not be getting a season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The comedy-drama stars Rachel Bilson as Sam Swift, an actress who begins shadowing a private investigator played by Eddie Cibrian. The cast also includes Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris.
Ratings for Take Two were never particularly high. Season one averaged a .42 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.707 million viewers.
Although ABC has cancelled Take Two, THR says the production is looking into shopping a second season to another outlet, possibly a streaming service.

Please bring this wonderful Take Two show back–disappointed, again, in ABC because a great show has been cancelled…what a they doing? There’s great chemistry between Rachel and Eddie — great writing / plots — it’s fun, creative, and has freshness in every scene — and the premise works!!
Can’t believe a show I watch whene’er I get a breathing chance just cancelled leaving us all in suspense at the end of episode 13.
This show is just so good. I watched all 13 episodes for less than a 3 days. Please do the season 2. Please, please, please.
