It looks like Take Two may not be getting a season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The comedy-drama stars Rachel Bilson as Sam Swift, an actress who begins shadowing a private investigator played by Eddie Cibrian. The cast also includes Xavier de Guzman, Aliyah O’Brien, Alice Lee, and Jordan Gavaris.
Ratings for Take Two were never particularly high. Season one averaged a .42 rating in the 18-49 demo and 2.707 million viewers.
Although ABC has cancelled Take Two, THR says the production is looking into shopping a second season to another outlet, possibly a streaming service.

I think that it is a fantastic show and it should definitely get a second season. Many networks are canceling the good shows and keeping the crap ones I hope that this does not end up like that and that is it renewed.
I really like this series . Why can’t the tv network give this show a chance instead of making radical decided over just a few weeks?
I loved this show and would definitely watch it on a streaming service! It’s a shame to see another decent scripted program get cancelled, especially one that aired in the summer months when the only choices are reality fluff and reruns.

YES PLEASE!! Take Two was the first show in a long time that I made a point to try to watch each week, and it seems like ABC always cancels the better shows. I would absolutely watch more Take Two on a streaming service! I would love to help make it happen!!
We really loved this show. Hated when the regular season started, we stopped watching ABC on Thursdays after that. If ABC wants us back, bring back this show!
PLEASE PLEASE! We need a second season! I would totally watch it! It buggs me to no end that all the great shows get cancelled after one season while there are cop or hospital shows like sand on the
Beach that get season after season (though there are some I really love!) So please give this show another season!
