The CW has renewed freshman series The 100 for a second season.
The 100 follows a group of young people who are sent back to Earth nearly 100 years after a nuclear Armageddon destroying civilization. The cast includes Eliza Taylor, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, Kelly Hu, Isaiah Washington, Marie Avgeropoulos, Bobby Morley, Thomas McDonell, Eli Goree, and Christopher Larkin.
While the show’s ratings haven’t been great, The 100 has been performing better than most of the network’s other new shows. It’s currently averaging a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with just under two million total viewers.
It debuted in March and the season is expected to conclude in mid-June.

I am 70 and love this show. Please renew for third season and more episodes. I LOVE this show.
I am 63 years young and I sort of see a lord of the flies theme but with females and bad people. Do not cancel this fresh new show. This has amazing plots and lets just see where it goes. Give these kids a chance and writers do not play it safe.
I am 56 , and love this show. I hope it keeps going for a 3rd season. The second one is great! So far.

Watched on netflix in 2 days shows seems fun, i hope they continue producing. The issue is ppl like to watch the series we dont have time to watch each week. The old ratings system for shows is crap, tv needs to understand people like shows on demand just make them people will watch. If the CW drops i hope netflix picks it up and continues. -joe

I do like this show. I actually consider it sci fi which I love. It seems like all these shows that are good somehow get cancelled and bad shows make it season after season.

This Season start a bit slow just like any other, but it’s definitely growing more and more after each show, it’s a very great show I hope they come out with season 2 and they kill murphy lol
