The CW has renewed freshman series The 100 for a second season.
The 100 follows a group of young people who are sent back to Earth nearly 100 years after a nuclear Armageddon destroying civilization. The cast includes Eliza Taylor, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, Kelly Hu, Isaiah Washington, Marie Avgeropoulos, Bobby Morley, Thomas McDonell, Eli Goree, and Christopher Larkin.
While the show’s ratings haven’t been great, The 100 has been performing better than most of the network’s other new shows. It’s currently averaging a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with just under two million total viewers.
It debuted in March and the season is expected to conclude in mid-June.

I am glad they brought back “the 100” for a seond season. But only 5 episodes. Last week was turkey week so Iget program changes but if no show this week I will be very disappointed. I have come to love the whole show.
I am so glad that there will be a season 2. I watched the first season on Netflix out of boredom and I think it is one of the best things I’ve watched. The Walking Dead use to be my favorite but this is definitely better, in my opinion.
Wonderful show! So many twists and turns in the plot. Keep it going. Also the plot is good for young adults. It shows them in a positive light that PEOPLE are important not THINGS!
I was afraid they’re wouldn’t be a second season. Seems like every time a good series hits the screen it dies and we get stuck with moronic TV shows like Duck Dynasty…..So yes I am thrilled there will be a second season and hopefully more seasons.

I just started watching it on Netflix and it’s the best thing ever. Rating are prob bad on tv but all is kids just wanna watch everything on Netflix now.

I’m glad to hear it was renewed. I just watched all of season 1 on Netflix. I can’t wait until Season 2 comes out!! Great show! I hope Finn and Bellamy aren’t dead, and how could the scene end at a hospital?? The suspense!! Hurry season 2!
Oh my gosh please don’t cancel this series. The show is great! I just started watching it on NETFLIX yesterday and we are hooked. I’m so glad to learn season two is going to be more reson for me to finish season one.
Since we are going ages here, 52, and loving it. My family was disappointed that both TerraNova and Revolution were also cancelled. One more crime show and we are done. Keep this one, endless possibilities.
