The CW has renewed freshman series The 100 for a second season.
The 100 follows a group of young people who are sent back to Earth nearly 100 years after a nuclear Armageddon destroying civilization. The cast includes Eliza Taylor, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, Kelly Hu, Isaiah Washington, Marie Avgeropoulos, Bobby Morley, Thomas McDonell, Eli Goree, and Christopher Larkin.
While the show’s ratings haven’t been great, The 100 has been performing better than most of the network’s other new shows. It’s currently averaging a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with just under two million total viewers.
It debuted in March and the season is expected to conclude in mid-June.

Excited to see season 2
Great cast of characters, great story that needs to be continued, crazy to think it wouldn’t be back for a second season.it could only get better and would be a shame to see such a great show like this not get the chance to continue.

the cw network cares about their CW shows 2013-14 18-49 demos and The 100 got an 0.9 0.7 0.6 and sounds like that the 100 raitings are dropping again and that means the Viewers (mil) got 1 million of viewers watching it and some network don’t like that because they are looking for higher raitings

This is my favorite show and I am 60 yo. Please Don’t cancel it. It is one show that I would rate as high as the best I have ever seen and I have been a science fiction fan all of my life!!!_

I love this show so much but there is only 16 episdoes and I cant Imagaine that mark is doing this to this to the producers while they’re fliming their second season
