TV show description:
From creators Craig Sweeny and Craig Turk, The Code TV show is a military legal drama. The series unfolds at the Judge Advocate General Headquarters in Quantico, Virginia and centers on the prosecutors, defense lawyers, and investigators who work on the legal challenges facing the U.S. Marine Corps.
A motivated man from a military family, Captain John “Abe” Abraham (Mitchell) has a passion for his work as a prosecutor and a deep sense of responsibility. His colleague, Captain Maya Dobbins (Wood) is a good friend, despite her position as the lead defense attorney. As dedicated as she is to the Corps and her clients, she is even more devoted to the truth.
Abe’s superior, Major Trey Ferry (Essandoh) is a dogged prosecutor who is relentless in the pursuit of suspects. Meanwhile, as one of the JAG’s highest-ranking women, commanding officer Colonel Glenn Turnbull (Delaney) expects nothing but the best from her staff. It’s her high standards for herself, however, that inspire their fierce loyalty.
Rounding out the team are Lt. Harper Li (Soo), a lawyer who is itching for a challenge, and Warrant Officer Rami Ahmadi (Barsoumian) who assists the lawyers in most aspects of their work.
As active-duty members of the U.S. Marines, these attorneys are duty and honor-bound to serve the country they love, as they seek military justice, both at home and abroad.

Abe’s colleagues must defend and reluctantly prosecute him when he is arrested and court-martialed for mutiny in regard to a 2010 mission in Afghanistan, where he was one of the only survivors.

Please renew The Code. It has a great cast, interesting stories with a heart, and quite entertaining. CBS is killing one of the better series. Reconsider.
I’m so sorry this show didn’t make it to renewal. The story lines were always interesting. The cast was wonderful. I learned a lot about our military and the many things they go through by watching this show. Please reconsider!!! This deserves another season, especially given the Direct TV mess with subscribers not able to watch every episode. I had to track it down on CBS All Access.
Of course it would be renewed. It is the closest thing to JAG.
Hate to see it cancelled. Absolutely the best Military Comedy since MASH and way funnier then Gomer Pyle. I particularly enjoyed the one where they had a Navy Commander/physician dressed in a Lieutenant’s uniform but for shear absurdity the running joke of having a Warrant Officer refusing to take his US citizenship test and then being sworn in as a citizen was priceless. Believe every Military member knows that one unwaiverable requirement for appointment to Warrant in ALL the US Military is you MUST be a US Citizen already! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in CBS for canceling such a GREAT show!! This was a family time dhow for my family. They need to change their decision & put it back on or sale it to another company to pick up ( NETFLEX). They have A LOT of other shows that they could get rid of instead!!!
how dare you cancel The Code. It is a great show. Take some of the garbage off and leave this show alone.

I was in the marine corps back in 1969. and yes, things have changed. that said, this was a fun show to watch and enjoyable. good actors. regret that it was cancelled.
