TV show description:
From creators Craig Sweeny and Craig Turk, The Code TV show is a military legal drama. The series unfolds at the Judge Advocate General Headquarters in Quantico, Virginia and centers on the prosecutors, defense lawyers, and investigators who work on the legal challenges facing the U.S. Marine Corps.
A motivated man from a military family, Captain John “Abe” Abraham (Mitchell) has a passion for his work as a prosecutor and a deep sense of responsibility. His colleague, Captain Maya Dobbins (Wood) is a good friend, despite her position as the lead defense attorney. As dedicated as she is to the Corps and her clients, she is even more devoted to the truth.
Abe’s superior, Major Trey Ferry (Essandoh) is a dogged prosecutor who is relentless in the pursuit of suspects. Meanwhile, as one of the JAG’s highest-ranking women, commanding officer Colonel Glenn Turnbull (Delaney) expects nothing but the best from her staff. It’s her high standards for herself, however, that inspire their fierce loyalty.
Rounding out the team are Lt. Harper Li (Soo), a lawyer who is itching for a challenge, and Warrant Officer Rami Ahmadi (Barsoumian) who assists the lawyers in most aspects of their work.
As active-duty members of the U.S. Marines, these attorneys are duty and honor-bound to serve the country they love, as they seek military justice, both at home and abroad.
Series Finale:
Episode #12 — Legit Bad Day
Abe’s colleagues must defend and reluctantly prosecute him when he is arrested and court-martialed for mutiny in regard to a 2010 mission in Afghanistan, where he was one of the only survivors.
First aired: July 22, 2019.
What do you think? Do you like The Code TV series? Should this CBS TV show have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
The Code just kept getting better as the season rolled on. It is a shame that CBS didn’t have the foresight to renew this fine drama…
Please bring back The Code, it was a great show!
PLEASE, Bring The Code Series back this year. It is a really good show and I never missed one.
Really liked this show. Watched every week. What a bummer!
Liked this show ! Surprised they cancelled it great acting and real life drama
Renew this show. Too many other shows are nothing but people insulting family and friends. At least this show has some meaning to it, and even touches on current social events.
I loved the show. Please renew.
RENEW! For crap sake! There aren’t enough positive role models in television as it is. Renew it NOW!
The code was an excellent show and should have been renewed.
There isn’t much good stuff on TV right now but the CODE was excellent. I do not understand why other shows of lesser interest continue when this was a good program.
This was a great show-well written! What a shame that they cancelled it. We looked forward to it coming on in the fall!
Finally an entertaining military show and it is cancelled. Why?
this show should DEFINITELY have been RENEWED!! it had a great story line and great actors. i’m very disappointed that CBS dropped it! such a bummer!
This was an excellent show and once again CBS goes with the inane reality shows
Love this show, it is on par with JAG and the three NCIS. Why cancel it and leave the reality shows?
