Airing on the FOX television network, The Cool Kids stars David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan. The TV show revolves around a loyal but motley crew who live at a retirement community and will break any rule to have fun. Though they may be older, this quartet is far from done with life. The self-proclaimed “cool kids” are determined to make the third act of their lives the craziest and most interesting one yet.
The first season of The Cool Kids on FOX is averaging a 0.85 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.27 million viewers.
Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, the sitcom is a middle-of-the-road performer. The series started out really strong but the ratings lost steam as the season progressed.

Great, one of two shows we watched together is cancelled. Hopefully a streaming service picks it up. This is exactly why greater numbers are turning away from terrestrial TV.
Terrible decision to cancel The Cool Kids
So so sad this show is being canceled… the US doesn’t deal well with aging and most people don’t want to think about facility living.. I thought this show represented those of us who aren’t living in denial and still want to have fun… shame on this network!!
I am really disappointed The Cool Kids was canceled. I really loved the show. We need funny things like this.

We love The Cool Kids, the regular cast, and the guest appearance cast. It is a shame to lose a good show that shows the talent of low time actors. I wish FOX would reconsider!
Please don’t cancel The Cool Kids. The show is hilarious! One of the few “comedies” on TV that actually make me laugh. Who cares about all the damn “reality shows”. They all suck. We need funny shows to take a break from this sad world.

My husband and I are upset about Cool Kids being cancelled. We found a good comedy with great actors and now FOX said no season 2. What person made this stupid decision!! Now I understand why we do not watch the FOX network.

Definite was a funny off beat show. Wanted a second season and of course the corporate tycoons cancelled it.
The Cool Kids is good comedy. I’m tired of serious drama and reality shows. Sometimes you just want to laugh and this show did that for everyone that watched it. Even my teenage daughter likes it. I hope Netflix or HULU picks it up. FOX is making a mistake. Who are these people making these decisions. they’re clueless.

The cool kids show was hilarious, entertaining. My husband and I watched it every week. We laughed so hard I can’t believe fox is taking it off the air one of the best shows ever. All the actors and actresses incredibly talented once again funny hilarious entertaining
