Airing on the FOX television network, The Cool Kids stars David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan. The TV show revolves around a loyal but motley crew who live at a retirement community and will break any rule to have fun. Though they may be older, this quartet is far from done with life. The self-proclaimed “cool kids” are determined to make the third act of their lives the craziest and most interesting one yet.
The first season of The Cool Kids on FOX is averaging a 0.85 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.27 million viewers.
Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, the sitcom is a middle-of-the-road performer. The series started out really strong but the ratings lost steam as the season progressed.

My husband & I love this show. We plan our Friday nights so we do not miss one episode! It’s hilarious & we can relate to most shows. Please do not cancel!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. I cannot believe it is being cancelled!! How about trying a different night instead of just outright cancelling it. I think it would get great ratings on the right night. The cast is great and the writing is spot on. Please save this show!!!

I nearly cried when my daughter told me this show was canceled – she loved it too and she’s only 30. What is wrong with FOX? My husband and I made sure we were home on Friday nights just to watch it! Come on guys – get it together and don’t let it go! Bring on season 2!! This is just one of those shows that had me doubled over laughing at times.
Cool Kids is a funny funny show. You have great comedic actors, making us laugh and sometime sorrow, just entertaining. TBS, what are you waiting for, pick it up!
Yes!! I absolutely loved that show and more people were starting to watch it I wish it was on a week day. Not fair to test it on a Friday!! It’s the only show that I laughed from the beginning to the end of the show. I’m sick oof all the American Idols. This is a HUGE MISTAKE. Bring it back

You have to be crazy! The Cool Kids was one of the best show on TV. There are a a few shows on that really suck on Fox. Why aren’t they cancelled?

I just read the latest update that said the cool kids have been canceled. Big mistake Fox big mistake! Yeah sure demographics are what they are and did you realize in that demographic set there is a group called Baby Boomers who that show cater to? I for one am going to send a protest letter 2 Fox. What’s next Bob’s Burgers? Head of programming should get it together. Take your demographics and shove it right down the hole.
I LOVED the cool kids. It was great seeing some funny people from the past. Martin Mull, Vicki Laurence, David Allen Grier, Leslie Jordan, Jamie Farr, Ed Bagely Jr, to name just a few. Such a refreshing premise for a show with veteran fan favorite actors. I really hope another network steals it. It’s wonderful.
