Airing on the FOX television network, The Cool Kids stars David Alan Grier, Martin Mull, Vicki Lawrence, and Leslie Jordan. The TV show revolves around a loyal but motley crew who live at a retirement community and will break any rule to have fun. Though they may be older, this quartet is far from done with life. The self-proclaimed “cool kids” are determined to make the third act of their lives the craziest and most interesting one yet.
The first season of The Cool Kids on FOX is averaging a 0.85 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 4.27 million viewers.
Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, the sitcom is a middle-of-the-road performer. The series started out really strong but the ratings lost steam as the season progressed.

To cancel this series was NOT Cool… Sorry to hear the news as I really felt it was time we had a funny series geared to the boomer generation despite the fact that we are apparently no longer the desirable demographic… Not sure about other boomers, but I still spend money – and I’m hoping this series will land somehow somewhere, maybe Netflix with Frankie and Gracie….

This is one of the best shows around..why do the good shows always get cancelled?? take some of the garbage off and keep this!

Networks don’t care about any demographic group except those between 18 and 49 years of age. This show appealed to baby boomers more than anyone else and our opinions no longer count. I hope that maybe TVLand or some other network picks up The Cool Kids.
I really enjoy the show. Please bring it back. My sister and brother love it, too. Not everyone likes dead people who kill other dead people. The humor in Cool Kids is so refreshing. Laughter is so much better for everyone. LEAVE COOL KIDS ON TV.
