Can CeCe help catch the killers in the first season of The Genetic Detective TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Genetic Detective is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of The Genetic Detective here. *Status update below.
An ABC true-crime series, The Genetic Detective follows investigative genetic genealogist CeCe Moore and her work with DNA technology company Parabon NanoLabs. In the series, Moore and her team revolutionize crime-solving by working with police departments and accessible crime scene DNA to help trace the path of a criminal suspect’s family tree, uncover their identity and bring them to justice. Since 2018, Moore has used her unique research skills to transform the face of crime-solving, helping to identify more than 100 violent criminal suspects.

Very upset this very educational and justice show was canceled. Sorry we educated people who want to become more informed about the how final justice is being found for victims is not as important over brainless programimg. Another disappointment from ABC. CC did a wonderful job explaining how her brains work and can encourage others to go into this upcoming field.

My mom and I selected to record the whole season. We were looking forward to watching the new episode. Ten pm we dedicate that hour to praying the Rosary, then when we’re done we watch The Genetic Detective to fast forward through commercials. We were let down by seeing some other new show in its place. Channel 7/ABC bring back Cece Moore and Parabon. Thanks.
Please don’t cancel this show. It is fascinating to watch CeCe Moore figure out the solution to mostly cold cases and even one more current one. She is changing the way a lot of cases are solved using DNA and genealogy. She is on the forefront of a new career for some people.
Very disappointed the show was canceled. It was good to see justice and closure for families that lost loved ones in such horrific ways. I don’t understand why the show didn’t do better. I don’t think the show got a fair amount of promotional commercials to viewers to spark an interest. I hope CeCe gets another opportunity for a show on another channel. I will watch it.

This show is fascinatingly gripping and CeCe Moore is law enforcement’s secret weapon to solving hot and cold cases. If it weren’t for her and Parabon Labs, the Golden State Killer would still be unknown and terrorizing California. I love this show!!!
