Based on the Justin Cronin book trilogy, The Passage stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Saniyya Sidney, Vincent Piazza, Brianne Howey, Caroline Chikezie, Jamie McShane, Emmanuelle Chriqui, McKinley Belcher III, and Henry Ian Cusick. The story centers on Project NOAH, where scientists are working on a virus that may either cure humanity of all disease or, wipe it out entirely. When Federal Agent Brad Wolgast (Gosselaar) is assigned to bring in Amy Bellafonte (Sidney) as a new test subject, he develops fatherly feelings for the child. Meanwhile, the new race of creatures locked up in Project NOAH is testing out their powers and working toward an escape.
The first season of The Passage on FOX averaged a 0.92 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers. Compared to the other FOX TV shows of the 2018-19 season, The Passage has been a middle-of-the-road performer in the ratings.

And this is why I stopped watching regular TV. I’m staying with Netflix and Hulu for good.

I am so disappointed to see The Passage canceled. There are so many new shows on TV and you find some good ones and then they cancel them just after you recommend them to a friend who is trying to catch up on what all the new shows are. This is one of the good shows I am going to miss terribly. I love the characters – especially Amy and Brad – and wish they would Change their mind! Aren’t you sorry to see a good program go all of these new programs or just reality programs that actually suck and the good ones are all being canceled I’m really going to miss the passage thanks Fox for counseling such another good program
I LOVED The Passage!! And I’m so sick of starting to watch & like a show on Fox and then they cancel ALL the time!! I’m done with Fox if they do this!! I want to watch The Passage to the end!!! I read the books and I want this to continue!! Darn you Fox!!!

I thought the show was fantastic can’t believe it’s been cancelled with all the other crap on television I’m dumbfounded bring it back
I thought the show was very good! It was a sci-fi show without all the unnecessary sex, and nudity being shoved down the throats of viewers.
It is really unfortunate that Fox frequently cancels very good shows with horrendous cliffhangers that leaves the viewers lost.
Hate to see the show go, because as the author of the trilogy said, “Saniyya nailed it!”
Enough, The Cool Kids was funny and entertaining. Every time that there is a good clean humorous show on television, it is taken off. Enough of those reality shows! Most of us are living our own reality. Who is the network talking to? Why? Great show! Great actors! Great dynamics between the actors!! Keep it on!!
