ABC hasn’t had much luck launching a new reality show in quite some time so they tried something different this time — The Quest. Is it a ratings success? Will it be renewed for a second season or, will it be cancelled instead?
On The Quest, a dozen everyday people are transported to a fantasy world called Everealm where they have adventures and compete to be the last “true hero” remaining. The cast includes Peter Windhofer, Jan Hutter, Marcello de Nardo, Susanne Gschwendtner, Stephanie Buddenbrock, Florence Kasumba, Mai Duong Kieu, and Doug Tait.
The show debuted at the end of July to a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.82 million viewers. It was a very poor start — even for a summer series — and the numbers have gotten worse as the weeks have gone by.

The season currently averages a paltry 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.96 million viewers. That’s worse than Sing Your Face Off, a celebrity reality show that was burned off on Saturday nights in June.
To be fair, The Quest has had to compete with football games in some markets and has also been preempted by games on some local ABC stations. The ratings are still very, very low however and the network knew that the series would be interrupted when they scheduled it — a sign that they probably had no faith in it.
In the end, it’s highly unlikely that ABC will want to take a chance on ordering a second season of The Quest.

Yes please, there needs to be a season two, three, four, and so on! This is the kind of show we need more of out there! It is the best reality competition I have ever seen. Please please please keep it going!
Just found out about this show from a friend! My wife and I watched it in 3 days on Netflix, couldn’t get enough. Second season now please!!!
Yes defiantly The Quest should be picked up for many seasons,/i pretty much stopped watching television altogether other than a documentary here and there,and a rare movie or two till I discovered this program.I have told my friends and most like me love the medieval time frame etc,and hope the programs picked up.it is different,fresh,and a very welcome departure from a;; the cops and robbers crook glorification on television.
I definitely think the quest should have a second season! It’s the best reality show out there and very creative and original to mix fantasy with real people. It also promotes good qualities and attributes about people unlike most reality shows. ABC needs to promote and advertise the show more, for I didn’t even know it existed till it came on Netflix.
Please don’t cancel. I love this show and think if it was in a different time slot and promoted better more people would watch and support it’s sucess!!!!

This is a fantastic show. Sign for season 2 and network needs to use their brains. DON’T SHOW IT DURING FOOTBALL SEASON. THAT’S A NO BRAINER!!! Plus, not all of us human beings like to watch sports. I am one of those viewers that hate sports dictating life. PLEASE MAKE A SECOND SEASON OF THE QUEST! I was GREAT!!!!
I just finished watching the first season and I loved it all the way through! It has everything that I love the most incorporated into it, It is a great story to watch and epic cheer on the competitors. Not only that but it is very inspiring and encouraging to see the people pouring out everything to be the best they can be! Hoping and praying that it gets more seasons!! I saw that there is a petition for season 2 and I am for sure going to sign it! Anything to keep this great show going!
There should definately be a second season. I had never even heard of it until i randomly came across season 1 on netflix. I dont think the show has gotten a fair shake with no one i know having ever even heard of it while it was airing. If the wors got out about the show it would have a better chance. And having had it on netflix may have gotten the wotd out. Also, how do you get signed up to compete in the quest?

The Quest is by far the best show i have ever watched i really hope they keep it. It is very popular on netflix hopefully that helps.

I loved this show!!! Would very much enjoy a 2nd season. So refreshing to see a realty show the whole family can watch. Loved the actors. I found myself getting lost in their “Quest” each week. Thank you.

Just discovered this show on netflix last week, my entire family burned through the series and can’t WAIT for season 2!!! PLEASE keep writing, creating the BEST SHOW TO EVER HIT TV!!! We don’t even like OR watch reality tv but this show was absolutely the funnest thing we’ve ever watched!
