How will these officers’ lives change in the fourth season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season five. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustrated when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the fourth season episodes of The Rookie here. *Status Update Below.
An ABC police drama series, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, and Mekia Cox. As the story begins, John Nolan (Fillion) is a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), Detective Angela Lopez (Diaz), training officers Nyla Harper (Cox) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookie Lucy Chen (O’Neil).

The first one was great ! I like this show! I hate when main characters are killed off thought.
I would say the rookie is a good show. I enjoy all the episodes. it’s has everything I want in the show. the words three to describe rookies are dramatic, funny, and action.
Wow Webster why don’t you tell us how you feel !!!!! I am a retired law enforcement officer from the largest Sheriff’s Department in the world. Give the show a break. Yes some of the things that are done don’t happen in real police work. It is a fun show to watch and I hope it is renewed for many more years. The only REAL police show was LIVE PD, which was taken off the air for no reason.

I LOVE this show and all the characters, especially Nathan Fillion. My only wish is that they would add Stana Katic as a police chief or some other main role. I loved her and Nathen together in Castle.

Loved the opening new season I was so happy they renewed the Rookie for a new season and it was a great start on the new season. Thank you for renewing the Rookie.
It was a very suspenseful way to start off the new season! We enjoy ed it a lot.
I’m an ex-cop from the 80’s, I started kinda late too, in my late 30’s, 5 years after 18 years in the USAF and Reserves. The First season, I enjoyed. The second season, I started getting suspicious that the PRODUCERS or Director had NO Police Operations Consultant to correct the increasingly “misguided” writing. The 3rd Season stunk to high heaven, Ofc Lucy Chen was getting noticeably FAT (not something that happens to a “Rookie” as they have you working your ass off ALL the time … her ass and thighs were ballooning. OMG, if you don’t like it stop watching it. And you don’t like the writing? Then why did you make up such a silly name to use? The rest of us enjoy the show.
Wow….for someone who doesn’t like a show you’re still watching? Find something else to watch or stop being so critical. We watch the show because we like it, not just to tear it apart. Lucy Chen is NOT fat and I love her character. We need more people like her in the real world. Fillian is a good actor and I think the rest of the cast fits well together too.
