The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Are you kidding thus series is one if the best I have ever seen. This series just needed more advertising I never heard of it I had to search for it all over netflix. Please reconsider never making a season 2. I know this will succeed with proper advertising.

Sadly they don’t give a damn about a smaller group such as ourselves who love this show or even shows like it. I think I’ve gone through season 1 three times on Netflix, and will likely again in the future. It’s only about money for them and god knows I hope they choke on it. Greedy idiots who actually believe they know more than you or I, thus our likes or dislikes don’t count. The Tomorrow People fans to Netflix, please bring that show back for a second season. Bring it back by Fall or next year.

I think that the show The Tommorrow People shouldnt have been canceled. It was a stupid decision on the CW’s part. The least they can do is only show it on netflix. Just like all tv shows they never really stick on the first season. #BringBackTheTommorrowPeople

The Tommorow People is the best show I’ve ever seen. THERE SHOULD BE A SEASON 2, you people left so many unanswered questions in our minds.

I love the tomorrow people. My favorite characters from the show are John, Cara and Steven.
I think that that guy who plays John is kind of hot.
