What’s This TV Show About?
An NBC action adventure drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, Goran Višnjić, Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey, and Claudia Doumit. Season two picks up right after the events of last season and follows Rufus (Barrett), Wyatt (Lanter), and Lucy (Spencer) on their quest to prevent the destruction of our world as we know it. This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their mission to destroy Rittenhouse, a deadly organization Lucy’s family has been a part of, for centuries. As they try not to change the past, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981 and more, and encounter Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst, and other influential historical figures.
Season Two Ratings
The second season of Timeless averaged a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.64 million viewers. Compared to season one, that’s down by 45% and 43%, respectively. Find out how Timeless stacks up against other NBC TV shows.
Timeless has been cancelled. There will be no season three, but NBC has ordered a two-part Timeless finale movie which will air December 20, 2018. Stay tuned for further updates.
Telly’s Take
Will NBC cancel or renew Timeless for season three? It’s in a tougher timeslot and the ratings have really suffered. I suspect that Timeless will be cancelled and won’t return for a third season unless there’s some reason that makes this show very cheap to produce. Season two benefited from tax incentives but I don’t think season three would have the same break. For now, I’ll update this page with breaking developments. Please renew timeless. I love this show, I’m a huge history buff and love watching a show that goes back in time and shows history in the making. I work nightshift at the hospital and I have about a 2 hour time slot where I literally don’t do anything and I love watching timeless. I don’t have cable but I do have hulu which is where i watch it. Please for the love of God renew timeless. Literally everything now is about hospital dramas or something just as stupid, I’m sick of the same thing and the same plots on… Read more »
Ratings are so antiquated. The Nielson company picks a bunch of white, nuclear families to determine how TV shows are watched…
I think Timeless would do well on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc. In fact, I watch it via Hulu a day after it airs. I hope NBC renews it, but if they don’t, I hope one of the streaming services pick it up as they have done with a number of shows…
If NBC doesn’t renew it, I’d love to see Timeless picked up by Netflix. It would be a perfect fit because science fiction is their main focus.
My Family and I watch Timeless every week and we have watched it from the first season. Please bring it back for a third season, it’s our guilty pleasure.

I really wish that on demand counted on the viewer listing. I have to work at 3am and watching it on Mondays during my open time frames works for me. I fell in love with this show from the first episode and I watch it every time I can. Please renew for season 3.
Love this show..actually the only drama I watch on TV. I wish it would come on earlier. Sometimes I have to watch it on my app the next day. Definitely it is a keeper…and yes, Wyatt is hot!!!! Will he and Lucy get back together? What will happen to Jessica?

I love this show. It is my favorite even over Rise this season. I was upset when I wasn’t sure if season 2 was ever going to happen or not. And when I heard it was making a comeback…i was elated. I love the history and the love stories etc. No other show is like this one or has done anything even closely related to this story line. I will be very upset if this show is not renewed. What Emma said that Amy was not coming back. I would say the hell with that and I do not care what she said to Lucy that her sister was gone. I will be damned if Rittenhouse controls everything. I would like to see season 3 for Timeless in at all out war in time travel. How would like the Rittenhouse liked to be suddenly… Unemployed!?

I do enjoy watching this show! Love the time jumping, the history, how it changes. Have always enjoyed time travel movies and books. I hope Timeless makes it to Season 3!!! If not, to please have it end without leaving the viewers on a cliffhanger.
i hope timeless can continue longer but if it can’t last long and gets cancelled again make sure there is a concrete ending not a cliffhanger with more questions answered not like ( last season adding more questions then answers) AWESOME SHOW HOPE IT STAYS LONGER
I love Timeless!! I hope it is renewed for a (longer) Season 3!! This show gets alot of On Demand, Hulu, NBC.com views and that should definitely count.
Yes! Absolutely! The series is refreshing and different from other time travel stories. I cannot believe that cancelled/renewed status is already being discussed when it just premiered it’s second season! It was great live tweeting during the premiere and we did trend!!
I totally agree. This obsession of constant filler BS just to fill websites is a terrible 21 first century innovation. Love TIMELESS, but do not want to info about the show to pop up every where in my Internet use.
It came back with a solid episode. I loved going back to World War I, it was epic. I think it is starting up at a weird time, so people might have missed that it was back. I think this show is going to give us a run for our money.
