Cancellation cancelled! Earlier this week, NBC cancelled Eric Kripke and Shawn Ryan’s Timeless TV show, but now the Peacock Network has reversed its decision and renewed Timeless for a second season of 10 episodes.
A time travel drama, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett, and Goran Visnjic. The NBC cast also includes Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. It looks like the Lifeboat will be around for season two.

THR reports that although at one point, Kripke said Timeless, season two, would air in the summer of 2018, it is possible the 10-episode installment could return in spring, instead.

I’m glad that NBC decide to renewed the TV series timeless for a second season. I always like time travel movies and time travel series its more interesting then those brainless TV reality shows like the Kardashians and other shows like it. NBC you made me happy.
Great news (so long as it is aired in the UK!). This show is fantastic. It has the same feel as The Time Tunnel and Quantum Leap which is the best praise one could give

Loved season 1, Have been anxiously waiting for season 2 !! So glad they reversed the cancellation decision.
My. 17 yr old son and I watched every episode and loved each one. We have been WAITING for the season two premier dates to be announced, we can’t wait!!

I’m so glad that Timeless has been renewed! Great acting, great characters, historical accuracy….what more could you want? It would be great for the ratings also if the word of the show’s historical segments got out to all of the history teachers across the country. They could in turn persuade their students to watch it. Its a win-win for everyone! Are you listening, NBC?
So thrilled timeless is coming back. I really enjoyed the first season. I’m sure the second season will be just as exciting. It reminds me of the long running tv show stargate from years ago that i enjoyed. I hope timeless runs for many seasons therafter season 2. The actors are awesome! “YEAH”GO TIMELESS TEAM”
Wonderful news for “Timeless”. It quickly became one of my favorite shows. And I am an Abigail Spencer fan.
Couldn’t figure out what the problem was with the network renewing it. All of them talk about quality family programming and here you have a terrific show that the entire family can enjoy and all they seem to worry about is ratings from an antiquated system of analysis. The rating system was considered useless when I worked for NBC back in the 1970s.

I am sooo glad that NBC got its head out and realized that people want smart shows. Not stupid reality tv strategy shows. They cancelled Dracula and forever. Which were my faves.

Yay!!!! This is one of the few shows on network TV that is a good family show! I love watching it my kids – history AND adventure? So good!!! Please keep it interesting, exciting, and family friendly!
