Trial & Error has some new company. Deadline reports Michael Hitchcock has joined season two of the NBC TV show.
The new season of the anthology comedy will see Josh Segal and Associates work on the case of Lavinia Peck-Foster (Kristin Chenoweth), an eccentric heiress whose husband is found dead in the back of her car.
On Trial & Error, Hitchcock will play Jesse Ray Beaumont, a “genius, paranoid horologist from the Deep South, Jesse was tried and convicted for the murder of Lavinia’s (Chenoweth) brother Chet nine years ago.
Season two of Trial & Error premieres on NBC on July 19th.

Michael Hitchcock is best known for being part of the Christopher Guest troop–Best in Show/Mighty Wind, etc. He should be quite an asset to the new Trial and Error season….
