FX has found some great success with their scripted dramas, especially ones like Sons of Anarchy and American Horror Story. Will Tyrant also be a ratings hit? Will it be renewed for a second season or will it be cancelled instead? We’ll have to wait and see.
Tyrant revolves around the youngest son of a dictator who returns to his war-torn country in the Middle-East with his American family. The drama’s cast includes Adam Rayner, Ashraf Barhom, Moran Atias, Jennifer Finnigan, Anne Winters, Noah Silver, Mehdi Dehbi, Fares Fares, Alice Krige, Salim Daw, and Justin Kirk.

Very compelling and unique premise. Unlike anything else on TV or the web. Gives a very human (good and bad) insight into life in a middle eastern country in present times. Written and acted to perfection. Can’t wait for each new episode.

A very good series that captures the essence of a Middle Eastern Dynasty.
The actors are suited to the characters and the characters are brought to life by the
excellent acting. A worthwhile hour spent each week.

I think this show is terrific! This is one of only two dramas I watch each week. My friends and I discuss the show at work after each episode. I really hope it comes back next season. It’s great to see a show about a diffident culture and how much family drama is the same no matter where the family is from. It’s like Dallas in the desert!
