TV show description:
A British crime drama anthology series, the Unforgotten TV show comes from creator and writer Chris Lang. The series, which airs on ITV in UK, follows DCI Cassie Stuart (Walker) and DS Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan (Bhaskar), as they investigate historic cold cases.
In season one, after the bones of a young man are found at the site of a demolished house, Stuart and Khan have a 39 year-old murder to crack. Their investigation will shake up the lives of four people who have been waiting for this moment for nearly four decades.
The potential suspects include Father Robert Greaves (Hill), Sir ‘Frank’ Philip Cross (Eve), Lizzie Wilton (Sheen), and Eric Slater (Courtenay). The story unfolds in various locations in England — from the outer London suburbs to Southend, Westminster, and the Fens.
The police train much of their focus on Arlingham House. This red-bricked Victorian has served as a private home, rented flats, a hostel for homeless young men, a British Rail records office, and a DHSS office.
Stuart and Khan need to determine who murdered this boy, and what events in 1976 led up to his death. As they delve more deeply into the case, the secrets they uncover will make a lasting change to the lives of several families.
Unforgotten explores complex issues about modern life. How well does anyone really ever know anyone else? It ultimately asks if justice is ever “too cold to serve.”

What do you think? Do you like the Unforgotten TV series? Should this PBS TV show be cancelled or renewed for another season?
Renew by all means.
Absolutely! Keep making Unforgotten. Brilliant script and cast. British drama at it’s best. Nicola Walker is so refreshing with her patient and thoughtful ways in handling situations. Loved her in MI5 and of course Last Tango in Halifax. Love Sanjeev too, still haven’t finished watching The Indian Doctor, love his manner.
The cast of “Unforgotten”, especially Nicola Walker, is excellent. Absorbing plots you can really understand, very true-to-life. I can’t wait to see more programs.
Unforgotten is really a quality program, and I sincerely hope it is renewed for many seasons. I do not have television programming and watch this series on my computer. I am American and thoroughly enjoy British programs and especially like Nicola Walker.
Just discovered this series the Unforgtten and I just love it. It really brings out the human side of the detectives and also the reason why some crimes are committed. Everything is not always black and white there are different kinds of grays in life and this show tells a larger life picture. I really needed the tissues for season 2, a very emotional roller coster ride.
Sorry double clicked
Just discovered this wonderful programme don’tknow why it has taken me so long but its fabulous two great leads and superb acting by supporting actors/actresses
conclusion to season 3 with the doctor playing the killer…chilling
Please more of Unforgotten
just discovered unforgotten. definitely need to create additional seaons!
I love this series. Please more of it. I would watch season after season of this excellent series and acting.
Yes, please bring it back, good stories well acted. Also Can we have a Hathaway series with his new partner since Inspector Lewis retired? That series was brilliant and I miss L. Fox!
I have enjoyed the series tremendously. The season finale was excellent. I have been a fan of Nicola Walker since Last Tango in Halifax.
This is an awesome series. Definitely do not cancel. I’ll be watching eagerly for more seasons.
This series should definitely be renewed. It far exceeds anything produced in the USA and the format, one case for the entire run, is better than those 60 minutes and it’s solved” formats of Midsomer Murders (can there really be that many murders in rural England?) and Death in Paradise, my next two favorite PBS shows.
Please renew this series. The cases are fantastic as well as the cast. Nicola Walker is fantastic in everything she does. I loved her in River.
Please renew this is one of the best tv shows
I’ve seen this series before; I enjoyed it so much that I’m happily going to watch it again. Nicola Walker is so believable, as she was in “Last Tango in Halifax”.
