Since The Voice TV show is one of NBC’s strongest Nielsen ratings performers, don’t waste too much time wondering whether it will be cancelled or renewed for season 17. Unless something extraordinary happens, cancellation of this TV series is not likely in the near future. Still, shows tend to shed viewers over time, so we’re still tracking the ratings in the 16th season. Join us and stay tuned. **Status update below.
Hosted by Carson Daly, The Voice TV show is singing competition. It typically airs twice weekly on NBC — on Monday and Tuesday nights. In the 16th cycle, first time coach John Legend joins returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. The competition is divided into five stages: blind auditions, battle rounds, knockouts, playoffs, and live performances. For season 16, the coaches have enlisted music industry heavyweights to prepare their artists for the battle rounds. Legend teams up with Khalid; Clarkson with Kelsea Ballerini; Levine with Charlie Puth; and Blake Shelton with Brooks and Dunn.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.

Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

My niece is going to be on 17 cant wait.
Love this show. Watch it every season. My Only Complaint is the part of coaching, its too long and leave no surprise as to what song they are doing. only need to cut that part in half and leave more time for music.
Should change the name to “The Coach” cause that seems to be who folks are voting for. Sad to watch good singers not advance because they are on wrong team. I’m no longer watching.
Boring show. Can barely stay awake.
Give it a try watch threw the whole thing or dont judge
The Voice needs to continue. It is great viewing and brings out people who have great talent who may not otherwise be heard.
.the voice should be renewed, because it has music and the singers are talented. it is different
They need to delete the show. There are too many commercials. Too much gossip!
