TV show description:
A psychological thriller, this TV show is based on the best-selling series of books by Blake Crouch.
Secret Service Agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon) drives to the bucolic town of Wayward Pines searching for two missing federal agents. One of the best Secret Service agents in the Seattle office, Burke is the man who knew missing agent Kate Hewson (Carla Gugino) better than anyone. They were more than partners — their relationship nearly destroyed Ethan’s marriage.
Everything changes when a truck slams into his car… and he wakes up in the Wayward Pines Hospital. The intense and unpredictable Nurse Pam (Melissa Leo) is at his bedside. It soon appears that Pam is more interested in harming than healing however. She and Ethan soon grow into deadly rivals, and her role in the town proves much deeper than anyone realizes.
Among the other residents Ethan meets are the mysterious Doctor Jenkins (Toby Jones), the psychiatrist who treats him at Wayward Pines Hospital; toymaker Harold Ballinger (Reed Diamond); Beverly (Juliette Lewis), a bartender who is as wary of Wayward Pines as he is; and Sheriff Arnold Pope (Terrence Howard), who takes offense at a Secret Service agent showing up on his turf.
Meanwhile, Ethan’s boss, Adam Hassler (Tim Griffin), attempts to update Ethan’s wife, Theresa Burke (Shannyn Sossamon) with the latest news. After arriving in Wayward Pines, Theresa and Ethan enroll their teenage son, Ben (Charlie Tahan), in the town’s only school. His teacher, Megan Fisher (Hope Davis), provides key information about the town’s origins.
Ethan’s continuing investigation only turns up more and more questions, and each one leads him to the most important question of all: What’s wrong with Wayward Pines?

What do you think? Do you like the Wayward Pines TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for another season?
I love wayward pines it has kept my interest and I’m looking forward to season 2
I love Wayward Pines and hope it has a second season!!
FOX has a new hit! We love Wayward Pines!
That villain nurse sucks so hard we love to hate on her.
Don’t cancel my family’s new mystery show. We’re addicted.
I certainly hope Wayward Pines is not cancelled, an excellent show with a great story!
A very good show. Hope they renew for a second season.
I like it, I just hope it comes back. I get so sick of investing in a new show to find out it’s canceled tired of cop shows, Dr shows and reality shows this is different. Crossing my fingers for another season
I started watching because it was supposed to be only 10 episodes. So tired of the shows that start out good, invest your time and emotions, run too long, then deteriorate into garbage with idiotic endings.
How can Sheriff Pope stop Ethan’s wife from entering Wayward Pines in the year 2014 when he is already two thousand years in the future and fighting with Ethan??? I’m confused!!!
He’s not stopping her, it’s showing us how his family was abducted shortly after him to be cryogenically frozen. It is a lot different than the book but that’s what they are doing. He isn’t in both at the same time it’s just like some of the other episodes where we are brought back and forth between the past and present to help us understand how everything that is became.
Interesting! Keeps my interest and good to see Matt Dillon on television. Weird story and can’t wait to see how it ends this season. Don’t know how it will play out.
I really liked I, hope it makes it, sorry having trouble with my keyboard!! UGH
Nice seeing Matt Dillon on TV, I really liked t makes it!!!
I like Matt Dillon and Juliette Lewis, but this seemed very, very typical. I’ll watch another episode, but it will probably be a stretch to say I’ll watch the series.
Twin Peaks revisited! Looks good. That’s probably the “kiss of death” for its survival. I hope not.
Interesting. I will tune in again.
It looks like a great show. Very interesting characters and I want to find out why they can’t leave. I just hope that I don’t invest the time watching for it to be cancelled early or not renewed if it is good.
