It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I love The White Princess and The White Queen and I was hoping and wishing there would be more seasons coming, or another installment of the book series. I would like to Thank Phiippa Gregory and Starz for bringing us such wonderful entertainment. I do hope we get more very soon!
I’m not surprised. Only watched episode one and I am quite disappointed. Loved the white queen but the white princess has veered too far off the book for my liking.
My husband and I love period pieces and watched every episode. We were hoping for another season to see what comes next. Please reconsider…

Can not believe they cancelled season two, that is so wrong. People were just starting to catch on and enjoy it. Very upset, will probably just quit watching starz all together. Pay high prices for the starz channel and they cancel all the good series they put on. Very very upset !
