It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

This was a captivating and dramatic series. Not returning for a season 2 is a tragedy . It truly was a more classic and suspenseful series unlike any other . The Tudors while very good had more sex and , infidelity and skirt chasing . White Princess had more classic drama of the trials and issues of that time period . It was so amazingly good . OMG ABSOLUTELY YES!!! There needs to be another installment of the White Queen/Princess! Please please please! I’ve been so enthralled with this series, it has reignited my fascination with the Royals, and how it all came to be!
totally agree with peoples comments here why do silly shows come back for more seasons while the Historical intriguen ones get cancelled makes no sense

Gutted not continuing with this drama loved all the episodes even got my daughter to watch as we both love the tudor period in history please bring it back refreshing change compared to some of the rubbish on TV today
