It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I loved The White Queen and The White Princess and am hoping they bring back a continuing series. It is so interesting and so well done. Great television.

I only just found out this moment that this show was cancelled. I had been waiting and waiting for Season 2 and just knew it was about to come back on. I am so extremely disappointed by the cancellation of this show. The writing was gripping, with just the perfect amount of drama. The acting was so superb. How awful that this show won’t be returning.
SO DISAPPOINTED! Loved this program. Such a shame they cancelled after such a gripping season. Truly wish they would reconsider!
I loved this series! Why do all the good ones get cut short ?? Can’t understand why it would be cancelled… no way it got low ratings! It was great! I’ve literally been waiting for it to return to television and decided to look it up which is how I stumbled across this sad news. I love these historical shows that take me back in time! I just turned it on this past Memorial Day and stayed glued watching it ALL day long!!! I loved it! Sad decision if they canceled it. Left me wanting more.

Wtf? I thought Id found a show to get me through the Game of Thrones long wait! Was really good! Ive seen way worse shows stay on way too long. Atleast come back long enough for Queenies family to get revenge.
