It looks like the reign is over for The White Princess. Recently, star Jodie Comer revealed there will be no season two for the Starz TV show.
A sequel to The White Queen, the historical drama follows the stormy marriage of Elizabeth of York (Comer) to Henry Tudor (Jacob Collins-Levy) during the end of England’s War of the Roses. The cast also includes Essie Davis, Joanne Whalley, Michelle Fairley, Suki Waterhouse, Rebecca Benson, Rhys Connah, Caroline Goodall, Kenneth Cranham, and Vincent Regan.
It’s not a huge surprise that The White Princess is ending with only one season. Its predecessor, The White Queen, was limited to one season as well. However, it remains unclear if there will be a third installment in the Starz historical saga. The series are based on the historical novels of Philippa Gregory and there are several more that detail what happens after the events of The White Princess.

I hope that minds are changed & they do have another season. The writers left it way too open at the end of episode 8 to not let us know what happens after that.

I loved this show and I feel it should be given a season 2.
I truly enjoyed the White Princess. The actors just began to come into their roles and the end left me wanting more. I’m saddened by this news.

I just found this series when I was binge-watching Outlander and may or might I say I really love the white princess this was a good show. And might I say this show has kept me on my toes ever since I’ve been to watched it I hope Stars approves them for another season because it is very good show.
i am catching these much later than they aired but truly wish that the series would continue in following mini series that can follow the story.

There should be a season two. It seems that evil won in this series. Why would they bring a series out and then leave it as that. I know many have questions as so do I. Will evil win in this series??? If there was going to be no season two, then there shouldn’t have been a season one.
I too just watched The White Princess and totally agree with you, if you aren’t going to give us an ending of some kind, there should NOT have been a season one to get us hooked. Comer now stars in Killing Eve (BBC) which is a GREAT show. You should check it out.
I mean – it’s based on history so you can always look it up. It’s pretty easy to find out what happens.
