Though the ratings took quite a hit in season two, Z Nation remained one of Syfy’s highest-rated scripted shows. Will the numbers continue to fall in season three? Will it be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season? Stay tuned.
A horror TV show, Z Nation begins three years after a zombie virus has gutted the United States. A ragtag band of everyday people must work together to cross the country with a possible cure for the apocalypse. The holder of the cure, a zombie-human hybrid named Murphy, may not be so cooperative. The cast includes Kellita Smith, DJ Qualls, Keith Allan, Anastasia Baranova, Russell Hodgkinson, Nat Zang, Emilio Rivera, and Sydney Viengluang.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Do you like the Z Nation TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
I watched the first season, half of 2, and then it just went off the rails for me. Couldn’t stand the goofiness.
The highest rated show on SYFY with a 0.29 live ratings average. it will probably be renewed unless the ratings utterly collapse.
ZNation is one of my favorite shows. The whole cast is really great and I enjoy the writing. I love the fact that there’s been a mission since day one and the creative zombies the special effects/makeup department create. It’s all very entertaining. Renew for season 4 definitely!
I love A Nation watched it from the 1st episode and still live. My kids and I watch it every Fri evening and wait till the next. Kinda our tradition. Deffinantly keep A Nation on.
Great show. I usually record all shows but I watch this one to get the rating. Renew for a season 4.
I love Z Nation!! I’ve been hooked since I saw the first episode right after season 2. After I saw the first episode I watched it from the beginning on netflix or hulu can’t remember which. I got caught up on the series and I NEVER miss a new episode. I’m hoping it’s not cancelled because there isn’t many tv shows I like enough to watch faithfully. It has everything…zombies, comedy and sometimes it’s even made me sad enough to almost cry. I love it and my entire family are faithful watchers. To be honest it is the only show… Read more »
I like z nation.it should continue for another season(4)
love the show, couldn’t wait for it to return, please don’t let them cancel it
That’s what Murphy does and who dies in the end and who lived and if they ever get a cure and what happens with the zombie baby
Z Nation should continue on to the fourth and fifth seasons the show is very enjoyable and I can’t wait to see what Murphy dies in the end
I am an extra on the show. Yes it should be Renewed! It is damn good. TWD is great but to dang serious. Their show is always drab but I do like the Zombies and some of the characters. Znation takes the zombie apocalypse with a twist of humor. If you cannot laugh what can you do. Znation is on a quest for a cure and to establish a living in a zombie world. So renew us Syfi. We have a big following overseas and a cult like following in the states. We just need Cowboys and cowgirls on house… Read more »
This show has a strong following and is doing typically fine for a syndicated series,Please renew it for a season 4 so the show can conclude the storyline
It’s typical for SYFY ,anytime a show has a following that to me is decent, funny and serious(which Z Nation actually is) they seem to look for a way to cancel the show usually using the lame excuse of low ratings to end it before it reaches its proper conclusion .(Again the ratings seem to me have very little bearing on whether a show is actually good because I’ve seen syfy leave shows that have very little in storylines survive and others with excellent writing get cancelled,Go figure.
It’s doing better in ratings than any other show on SyFy though. http://tvseriesfinale.com/tv-show/syfy-tv-show-ratings-updated-33879/
it’s been on 2 weeks and it’s done a 0.30 both times. it’s not horrid, but it looks like the ratings for season three will end up worse than season two, just like the ratings for season two were worse than season one. Then what does SYFY do? if it can average a 0.30 every week, I guess I can’t complain too much if they renew it.
No, it was a two-hour premiere, hence the same rating.
