666 Park Avenue: Last Episodes of Cancelled TV Show Dumped

666 park avenue canceledWhen ABC cancelled 666 Park Avenue, word was that the network was committed to airing all 13 episodes. Now, it looks like that may not happen after all.

666 Park Avenue was scheduled to return on January 6th with the first of four final episodes. ABC has now dropped the series from the schedule.

The Sundays at 10pm timeslot will be filled with episodes of Happy Endings and Don’t Trust B in Apartment 23 on January 6th, 13th, and 20th. (Both sitcoms have been performing terribly and could certainly use additional exposure.)

On January 27th, ABC will air Hallmark Hall of Fame’s original movie, The Makeover. It’s unclear what will air after that but the Academy Awards broadcast is slated for February 24th.

A spokesperson for ABC indicated that the remaining episodes of Park Avenue may air over the summer. Keep in mind that the network has had plans like this in the past with mixed results.

What do you think? Are you upset that ABC has dropped 666 Park Avenue? Do you think they’ll eventually air the remaining episodes?

Are you serious? I have been waiting for the new season. How can ABC do this to the shows fans. It is just plain disrespectful. We have to see Olivia be reunited with Sasha. We have to know what will come of Henry and Jane’s relationship. Will Gavin ever get his?? Come on ABC..Show the four episodes and start filming some more.I have not watched a regular TV series since Sex and the City. None of my friends can believe that this show had me watching it week after week. I don’t usually do TV. Bring back 666!!!!

I can’t believe they cancelled Park Ave 666. I’m so tired of shows being cancelled so quickly. I think I might quit watching tv and just have Netflix, I know the show won’t be cancelled then!!!! Sssssoooo very upset!!!!

I left a msg. somewhere else for this show, but I’ll leave another. I agree I don’t watch those silly comedy dribbles, reality tv or music shows. 666 Park ave and Last Resort are quality shows with great casts. I get so disappointed investing my viewing time in lost causes. Sunday night was ssuch a hit for my family. We talked about Once upon a Time at dinner and my husband and I watched Revenge and 666 Park Ave. Friday and Saturday night really suck for your network but we so looked forward to Sunday.

This is awful! My husband and I were waiting for the return of 666 Park Avenue this month – we never missed a show last year! I agree with some of the other comments in this string – why ABC has decided to keep the inane dribble of some of these so-called “comedies” is beyond us! There’s no substance to these stupid “comedies”! At least with 666 Park Avenue there was a story line that was intriguing and always left the viewer wanting more!!
    BRING BACK 666 PARK AVENUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please bring back Park Avenue 666. My husband and I loved this new show and looked
forward to seeing it every Sunday night. It got better with each show, so why not give it
another chance? We do not watch Happy Endings or any other of the silly shows that are
    on ABC.

OMG…really! Out of all the shows that are on and a waist of my time, the one show that I really looked forward to watching on Sunday nights before going to work on Monday has been canceled. My husband makes fun of me because I always have a hard time remembering the days, time and channnels that my shows are on, this was the one show I was able to remember what day, what station and time that it aired. I didn’t realize how much I was captured and in aww of the storyline. I never missed an episode and would make my husband watch it with me. It is true, ABC cancels all the good shows. We should petition to bring it back. I loved it and it was my favorite show, the best I have seen in years! My husbands a writer, I had told him this was one of the best storylines.
