The ratings for Family Guy keep coming down but the FOX series continues to be a cash cow for the studio. Will it ever be cancelled (for the second time)? Move to a cable channel like American Dad! did? Will it return for the 2015-16 season? Stay tuned.
On Family Guy, Peter Griffin and his family and friends continue to have crazy mishaps in the Rhode Island town of Quahog. The voice cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Mike Henry.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically the following morning, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/13 update: FOX has renewed Family Guy for another season.

Due to a Nielsen glitch, some of the early ratings of the 2014-15 season were revised a few weeks later.
Last year comparison: The 2013-14 season of Family Guy averaged a 2.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.71 million total viewers.
Note: These are the final national numbers (unless noted with an “*”). These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you still like the Family Guy TV series? Do you think it should ever be cancelled?
Dont you ever cancel family guy . Its been my life i love watching family than anything else. I would love to watch ot for the rest of my life . Please fox .
Don’t support lazy bad writing. This show should’ve ended at season 5-6. Nowadays, it’s 20 minutes of manatee jokes and conway twitty songs. The only thing I laugh at is the writer’s attempt to produce something original that’s funny.
The only good animated show on tv right now is Archer.
The show has sucked for a few years but I still find myself watching it and will continue doing so..
Um, Axel Alexander…if you are looking for “respectable” with a Seth McFarlane property, you are seriously in need of new programming.
**** Family Guy. Ever since Seashore Seashell Party, this show has just been getting worse and worse. Watch American Dad instead. It’s so much more respectable.
