Will Nashville fare better in the ratings than ABC’s quickly cancelled Cop Rock series? The critics have sung this new show’s praises but we’ll have to wait to see if the viewers agree and if they’ll keep watching.
The first season of Nashville typically airs Wednesday nights at 10pm on the ABC network. The drama’s cast includes Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Powers Boothe, Charles Esten, Eric Close, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Sam Palladio, Robert Wisdom, and Judith Hoag.

Compared to last year’s Revenge premiere in the same timeslot, the network was down by 15% in the demo (vs a 3.3 rating) and down by 10% in viewership (vs 10.02 million). This wasn’t a terrible start but it’s not a great one either.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

please do not cancel. I will never watch another series if they cancel Nashville or mistresses. every series I faithfully watch week after week, they seem to cancel,
We really enjoy the series Nashville. We hope you won’t cancel the series.
The show sucks. Bad acting combined with lousy directing (yes, x & y will stare at each other. X will turn away, stone faced. Y will turn another direction, grimacing slightly. Rinse and repeat).
Nashville is my favorite show! Please don’t cancel! I beg you!
Please don’t cancel. I love the show.
Nashville a show about Country music singers. How exciting watching them whine about their life. Its about as interesting as watching grass grow.
Don’t cancel!!! Give it a chance for word of mouth to increase the viewers. It is the best show I’ve seen in a long time. The break in episodes confused me, as I’m sure other viewers. I impatiently wait in between episodes. Ordered a copy before it even came out!!!!!
Please dont cancel the show!!!
This is my very favorite TV show.
It’s so much better than any of those “reality” shows and the music is great.
I’m voiting to keep it going so please do not cancel it.
