NY Med: Summer 2012 Ratings

ABC ratings for the NY Med TV seriesThis Summer TV show, NY Med, follows the staff of three New York hospitals as they try to help patients in need. Television ratings aren’t a matter of life or death but they do help determine what sort of programming ABC will produce in the future.

These are the TV show’s ratings for the Summer 2012 season, the best way to tell if NY Med is going to be cancelled or renewed for season two. Right now, ABC is billing it as an eight-episode series.

Season averages: 0.97 in the demo with 4.15 million.

Episode 01-07: Tuesday, 08/21/12
1.0 in the demo (0% episode-to-episode change) with 4.13 million.
Season averages: 0.97 in the demo with 4.10 million.

Episode 01-06: Tuesday, 08/14/12
1.0 in the demo (+43% episode-to-episode change) with 4.27 million.
Season averages: 0.97 in the demo with 4.10 million.

Episode 01-05: Tuesday, 08/07/12
0.7 in the demo (+17% episode-to-episode change) with 2.85 million.
Season averages: 0.96 in the demo with 4.07 million.

Episode 01-04: Tuesday, 07/31/12
0.6 in the demo (-45% episode-to-episode change) with 2.80 million.
Season averages: 1.02 in the demo with 4.37 million.

Episode 01-03: Tuesday, 07/24/12
1.1 in the demo (-8% episode-to-episode change) with 4.39 million.
Season averages: 1.17 in the demo with 4.89 million.

1.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 5.47 million total viewers.

Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.

    Definetly an amazing how and I’m overly ready for the new season to begin this summer!!

      I love the show IQ . It shows all aspects of what i have gone thru with a very serious health problem . It show the whole process of getting or worse , not . The only thing left out is yoyr insurance covering it . A very important part but would be boring on tv i think . Please continue this series . Our Doc’s and Nurse’ do a great job

    Please keep ny med on this summer. It the best show on television.
    Dr. Oz is amazing and so is the whole cast.

    Please do not cancel it.

    its the best drama on tv hands down, dont cancel it please, when will we know if its going to be renewed? GIVE IT A CHANCE.

    Please bring NY Med back for another season and more. It is an amazing show with true stories and staff that really care for their patients.

    This show is interesting, I would like for it to come back as a summer show. It’s better than the usual summer shows , such as, Big Brother. I really hope they pick it up for next summer.

    Absolutely should be renewed ~ a true reality show with a positive spin. Never missed an episode and left me wanting more.
